SEAFUTURE AWARDS

The new edition of “SEAFUTURE Awards 2023” is addressed to graduates, PhD students and postgraduates from the Italian academic world, both civil and military, who have developed experimental, master’s or doctoral theses related to the development of processes and products in the field of marine technologies.
In particular, the award aims at enhancing experimental theses developed in industries or laboratories of University Departments or Research Centres, investigating projects and marine technologies that can be used in different sectors (Dual Use), promote a circular blue economy, and refer to one or more of the following areas: innovative materials, energy efficiency, ecological transition, low environmental impact, climate change, digital transition, IoT technologies, cybersecurity, robotics, logistics and transport.

SEAFUTURE AWARDS HIGH SCHOOL

Seafuture Awards High School is open to students enrolled in the last two years of secondary schools in Liguria.
In particular, the award aims at enhance outreaching works or essays addressing topics, products or processes in the field of marine technologies, promoting a circular blue economy and whose the main themes are environmental protection, innovative materials, energy efficiency, ecological transition, low environmental impact, climate change, digital transition, IoT technologies, cybersecurity, robotics, logistics and transport. The integration of the research paper with one or more interviews with experts and reference figures that corroborate the research work will be a rewarding element.
