Green & Blue Innovation Hub: the Sustainable Core of SEAFUTURE 2025

The Green & Blue Innovation Hub is an initiative dedicated to promoting sustainable innovation in the maritime sector within the unique context of Seafuture 2025.

This initiative – featuring high-level conferences and a dedicated exhibition area – will showcase some of the most promising technological innovations in the maritime sector, aimed at addressing climate challenges and fostering new sustainable business opportunities.

Preparations are well underway for the conferences, which will focus on five key thematic areas of the Blue Economy:

  • Global Ocean Observation & Governance, in collaboration with CORILA
  • Green Shipping
  • Green Ports
  • Marine Renewable Energy, in collaboration with OWEMES and AERO
  • Fisheries & Aquaculture, in collaboration with FEDERPESCA

In addition, the initiative includes two key side events focused on the sustainable development of the Blue Economy:

  • A workshop on the EU BlueInvest platform, organised by PwC
  • A session dedicated to the WestMED initiative, promoted by National Hub Italy

The driving idea is to transform ports into true energy hubs and to promote innovative solutions across the entire maritime value chain. The Green & Blue Innovation Hub is therefore the sustainable core of Seafuture – a place where connections are made and ideas are sparked for the future of the sea.

The full conference calendar will be published shortly but several speakers have already confirmed their presence:
